Accessibility Statement

Ice Cave wants everyone to be able to use our website, including people with disabilities. We are working to make www.icecavestl.com easier to use for all of our guests.

Our goal

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as our guide. Our website partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA. This means some parts of the site do not fully meet the standard yet. We are working on them.

What we have done

In October 2026 we reviewed our website and made these changes:

- Added text descriptions to our photos for people who use screen readers

- Improved color contrast so text and buttons are easier to read

- Removed a background video that played on a loop

- Organized page headings so each page is easier to navigate

- Renamed buttons and links so they say where they go

Known limitations

- Online ordering: Our drink menu and online ordering are on a page run by Square, a separate company. We do not control how accessible that page is.

- Gift cards: Our gift card page is run by Square. We do not control how accessible that page is.

- Zoom: On a desktop computer, some pages may need sideways scrolling when zoomed in to 400%. Our mobile site does not have this problem.

- Some features come from other companies, such as the chat button and the shaved ice menu display, and may not fully meet the standard.

How we checked

We reviewed our website with automated accessibility testing tools and checked pages by hand, including using the site with only a keyboard.
